Strada Services seeks a Residential Electrical Service Technician to diagnose and repair electrical systems in single- and multi-family homes, ensuring NEC and local code compliance. The role emphasizes clear communication with homeowners and coordination with field staff.

Responsibilities include inspecting wiring, performing repairs, estimating materials, and using Service Titan for project documentation.

Qualifications

• Must have clean driving record.
• Background check and pre-employment drug test.
• Able to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends.
• Ability to read technical diagrams of equipment, controls, and blueprints.
• Ability to solve NEC calculations.
• Ability to direct Electrical Apprentices.
• Exhibit strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
• Detail-oriented with time management skills.
• Demonstrate safe working practices.
• Navigate company-provided tablet.
• Document work with before/after photos.
• Accurately estimate and invoice repairs.
• On-the-job shadowing and learning with Service Titan Trade Software.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, identify hazards or defects, troubleshoot, and diagnose electrical problems on structural wiring, service equipment, receptacles, switches, and light fixtures.
• Perform repairs or replacements per manufacturer recommendations while adhering to NEC standards.
• Work from ladders, scaffolds, and scissor lifts to install, maintain or repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures.
• Provide preliminary sketches and cost estimates for materials and services.
• Engage with homeowners to inform them of issues and needed repairs, replacements, or upgrades.
• Lead customers to informed and confident buying decisions.
• Communicate effectively with customers, building officials and internal staff.
