Job summary

Moore Home Services is seeking an Electrical Operations Manager to lead our residential electrical department, driving growth, safety, and profitability. You will oversee service, installation, and field operations while ensuring code compliance and exceptional workmanship.

The role requires strong leadership, NEC knowledge, and experience managing budgets, KPIs, and staffing plans. A Journeyman/Master Electrician license is preferred or required by local regulations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of residential electrical experience with progressive leadership responsibilities.
• Proven success leading, growing, and developing electrical teams.
• Strong working knowledge of residential electrical systems, troubleshooting, installations, and the NEC.

Responsibilities

• Build, lead, and develop a high-performing team of electricians and apprentices.
• Establish a culture of accountability, safety, professionalism, and customer service.
• Oversee day-to-day electrical operations including service, repair, and installation projects.
• Ensure all work complies with local, state, and NEC requirements.
• Conduct field inspections and quality assurance reviews to maintain high workmanship standards.
• Provide technical guidance for complex electrical diagnostics and installations.
• Partner with leadership to develop departmental goals, budgets, staffing plans, and growth strategies.
• Monitor KPIs, labor productivity, revenue, and profitability.
• Optimize scheduling, workforce planning, and resource allocation.
• Collaborate with sales, dispatch, and customer service for seamless operations.
• Support estimating, job scoping, and proposal development for larger projects.
• Drive continuous improvement to increase efficiency and profitability.
• Ensure compliance with policies, safety regulations, licensing, and best practices.
