Job summary

Moore Home Services is seeking an Electrical Manager to lead and grow our electrical department, ensuring code compliance and profitability. The role focuses on building a high-performing team, optimizing operations, and delivering exceptional customer experiences on residential projects.

The ideal candidate will have extensive NEC knowledge, a Journeyman or Master Electrician license, strong business acumen, and proven leadership in a home-service environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in residential electrical with progressive leadership responsibilities.
• Proven track record of leading, growing, and developing electrical teams.
• Strong working knowledge of residential electrical systems, troubleshooting, installations, and NEC.
• Valid Journeyman or Master Electrician license (preferred or required by state/local regulations).
• Experience managing budgets, profitability, KPIs, and operation performance.
• Excellent leadership, coaching, communication, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Ability to inspire, motivate, and hold teams to high standards.
• Experience with scheduling, workforce planning, and operational management.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Build and develop a high-performing team of electricians and apprentices.
• Ensure safety, professionalism, and exceptional customer service.
• Oversee daily electrical operations including service, repair, and installation projects.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and NEC requirements.
• Conduct field inspections and quality assurance reviews.
• Provide technical guidance for complex diagnostics and installations.
• Collaborate on departmental goals, budgets, and growth strategies.
• Monitor KPIs, labor productivity, and departmental profitability.
• Optimize scheduling, workforce planning, and resource allocation.
• Coordinate with sales, dispatch, and customer service for seamless operations.
• Assist estimating, job scoping, and proposal development for large projects.
• Drive continuous improvement to improve efficiency and profitability.
• Ensure compliance with policies, safety regulations, and licensing.
