Job summary

Moore Home Services is seeking an Electrical Operations Manager to lead and grow the residential electrical department. You will supervise electricians, drive code-compliant workmanship, and manage budgets, KPIs, and profitability while enhancing safety and customer satisfaction.

The role combines office leadership with field visits to residential job sites, requiring knowledge of NEC, blueprints, and service install/repair operations. California licenses are preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of residential electrical experience with progressive leadership responsibilities.
• Proven success leading, growing, and developing electrical teams.
• Strong working knowledge of residential electrical systems, troubleshooting, installations, and the NEC.
• Valid Journeyman or Master Electrician license (preferred or as required).
• Demonstrated business acumen with budgets, profitability, KPIs, and ops performance.
• Exceptional leadership, coaching, communication, and conflict-resolution skills.

Responsibilities

• Build and develop a high-performing team of electricians and apprentices.
• Establish a culture of accountability, safety, professionalism, and customer service.
• Oversee day-to-day electrical operations: service, repair, installation projects.
• Ensure all work complies with NEC and safety requirements.
• Conduct field inspections and quality assurance reviews.
• Provide technical guidance for complex electrical diagnostics and installations.
• Partner with leadership on goals, budgets, staffing and growth.
• Monitor KPIs, labor productivity, revenue, and margins.
• Optimize scheduling and resource allocation for efficiency.
• Collaborate with sales, dispatch, and customer service for great customer experience.
• Support estimating, job scoping and proposals for larger projects.
