Job summary

M and M Heating, Cooling, Plumbing and Electrical is seeking an experienced Electrical Manager to lead our Colorado residential electrical operations. You will oversee field teams, ensure code compliance, and drive quality across projects, from panels to EV chargers and HVAC-related work.

The role demands strong leadership, deep NEC knowledge, and a proven track record mentoring electricians and apprentices in a fast-growing company.

Qualifications

• Active Colorado Master Electrician License – Required.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a licensed electrician; management or supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong residential electrical experience; HVAC-related electrical experience preferred.
• Knowledge of NEC, Colorado electrical codes, permitting, and inspection requirements.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex electrical systems and resolve technical issues.
• Read and interpret blueprints, electrical diagrams, and technical documentation.
• Experience with VFDs, motor starters, and control systems.
• Experience leading and mentoring electricians and apprentices.
• Strong organizational, communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Balance field responsibilities with administrative priorities; tech-friendly.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily electrical operations, ensuring safety, efficiency, and quality.
• Perform and support residential installations, repairs, troubleshooting, and upgrades (panels, EV chargers, etc.).
• Coordinate HVAC electrical work (furnaces, air handlers, thermostats, zoning).
• Provide technical guidance and field support to electricians and teams.
• Mentor and develop apprentices and journeyman electricians.
• Ensure NEC and Colorado code compliance; manage permits and inspections.
• Read blueprints and electrical diagrams; interpret plans and specs.
• Troubleshoot complex circuits, equipment, and controls.
• Oversee 480/277V and 240/208/120V systems; manage related components.
• Procure materials and coordinate project logistics.
• Collaborate with dispatch, service, installation, sales, and leadership.
• Support permitting and inspections; maintain quality standards.
• Promote safety, accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
