Job summary

Mr. Electric of Charlotte Metro is seeking an Electrical Installer to join our growing team in Charlotte, NC. This role focuses on taking sold electrical work and executing it safely and efficiently in residential settings, with potential growth into a Service Professional role.

You’ll install and repair panels, outlets, lighting, EV chargers, and more, while maintaining high standards and clear communication with customers and the office team.

Qualifications

• Previous professional electrical experience required.
• Strong understanding of residential electrical installation and repair.
• Ability to safely perform residential electrical work with limited supervision.
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
• Ability to use standard electrical tools, equipment, and testing devices.
• Professional appearance and communication skills.
• Willingness to follow established company processes and documentation requirements.

Responsibilities

• Complete residential electrical installations, upgrades, and repairs.
• Install and replace electrical panels, circuits, outlets, switches, lighting, fans, EV chargers, surge protection.
• Review scope of work before starting and confirm tasks.
• Prepare materials and equipment for scheduled installations.
• Work safely, correctly, and per codes and standards.
• Communicate with the Service Professional or team when changes arise.
• Provide a professional customer experience in customers' homes.
• Dispatch and document completed work and photos.
