Job summary

Mr. Electric of Charlotte Metro is hiring an Electrical Installer to join our residential service team in the Charlotte metro area. You will execute sold electrical work, ensuring safety, efficiency, and quality on a variety of home projects.

This role offers hands-on experience and potential growth into a Service Professional position. You’ll work on residential installations, upgrades, and repairs, with opportunities to advance, supported by ongoing training, benefits, and the company’s field

Qualifications

• Previous professional electrical experience required.
• Strong understanding of residential electrical installation and repair.
• Ability to safely perform residential electrical work with limited supervision.
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
• Ability to use standard electrical tools, equipment, and testing devices.
• Ability to perform physical requirements (lifting, ladders, attics/crawlspaces).
• Professional appearance and communication skills.
• Willingness to follow established company processes and documentation requirements.

Responsibilities

• Completing residential electrical installations, upgrades, and repairs.
• Installing and replacing electrical panels, circuits, outlets, switches, lighting, fans, EV chargers, surge protection, and other residential systems.
• Reviewing scope of work and ensuring understanding before starting.
• Preparing materials and equipment for installations.
• Completing work safely and per electrical codes and standards.
• Communicating with Service Professionals or team when changes arise.
• Keeping customers informed and providing a professional in-home experience.
• Maintaining a clean and organized jobsite.
• Documenting completed work with notes and photos.
• Identifying materials needed for upcoming work.
• Following permits, inspections, materials, and completion processes.
• Dispatching and completing jobs through field software.
