Mr. Electric of Charlotte Metro is looking for an Electrical Installer to join our growing team.
This position is different from a traditional service electrician role. Our Service Professionals meet with customers, diagnose their electrical needs, develop solutions, and sell the work. As an Electrical Installer, your primary responsibility is to take that sold work and execute it safely, efficiently, and to our standards.
You’ll have the opportunity to work on a variety of residential electrical projects while continuing to develop the skills and experience needed to potentially advance into a Service Professional position.
As an Electrical Installer, you’ll be responsible for completing residential electrical projects that have already been sold and scoped by our Service Professionals.
Your responsibilities may include:
We want the job done correctly the first time. You take pride in your workmanship, pay attention to the details, and don’t cut corners.
Quality matters, but so does productivity. You understand how to organize your day, prepare for the job, and keep projects moving without sacrificing workmanship.
When a job is assigned to you, you take responsibility for it. If something is incomplete, materials are needed, or a problem comes up, you communicate it and help move the job toward completion rather than allowing it to fall through the cracks.
You’re part of a larger team. Clear job notes, photos, material updates, and communication with our Service Professionals and office team are essential.
Even though you aren’t responsible for selling the job, you are working inside our customers’ homes and representing Mr. Electric. We expect professionalism, respect, cleanliness, and great communication.
This position can be more than an installer role.
