The Opportunity

Rytec Electric is seeking a skilled Residential Electrical Field Coordinator & Working Quality Lead to manage rough wire crews, municipal inspection sign-offs, and quality assurance checks across residential new construction communities from Jacksonville to Wilmington, NC.

In this central field management role, you will serve as the primary quality and compliance authority across multiple active residential subdivision builds. You will supervise wire crews, manage municipal electrical inspections, conduct thorough punch-list walk-throughs, and perform light electrical adjustments to close out homes on schedule. If you bring strong residential electrical wiring knowledge, inspection management skills, and clear field communication, Rytec Electric provides consistent year-round work, performance bonuses, and career growth tracks within a supportive team climate.

Key Responsibilities
  • Wire Crew Supervision & Quality Oversight: Direct daily rough wire installation crews across residential subdivisions, ensuring full compliance with company standards, builder specs, and National Electrical Code (NEC) regulations.
  • Municipal Inspection Management: Act as the primary Inspection Manager for assigned residential communities—scheduling, preparing, and managing municipal electrical inspections from rough-in to final power hookup.
  • Punch-List Execution & Closeout: Perform detailed site audits, identify punch-list items, and execute light electrical repairs (trim, device setting, fixture troubleshooting) to ensure rapid home completions.
  • Field Communication & Coordination: Serve as the primary operational liaison between wire crews, builder superintendents, municipal inspectors, and office project managers.
  • Jobsite Safety & Cleanliness: Conduct daily site walks to ensure work areas remain clean, orderly, and fully compliant with OSHA and jobsite safety protocols.
  • Timeline & Workflow Scheduling: Manage time and resource allocations effectively across multiple concurrent residential home builds to maintain aggressive completion targets.
What You Need to Succeed (Qualifications)

Required

  • Residential Electrical Tenure: Minimum 2 to 3 years of practical experience in residential new construction (RNC) electrical wiring, rough-ins, and trim-outs.
  • Quality & Code Literacy: Deep understanding of residential electrical layout, circuit load requirements, single-phase power distribution, and National Electrical Code (NEC) standards.
  • Field Leadership Ability: Demonstrated capacity to lead wire crews, delegate daily field tasks, and communicate professionally with builders and inspectors.
  • Time Management & Self-Direction: Strong organizational skills to oversee multiple active residential builds simultaneously with minimal supervision.
  • Mobility Credentials: Valid Driver License with reliable transportation to travel between regional subdivision sites across the coastal NC corridor (Wilmington, Surf City, Jacksonville).

Preferred

  • License Credentials: Active Journeyman Electrical License or formal electrical trade training.
  • Inspection Experience: Background managing municipal building inspections or acting as a working field foreman for a high-volume residential electrical contractor.
Compensation & Benefits
  • Pay Scale: $65,000 annually based on experience.
  • Performance Upside: Eligibility for performance-based bonuses and annual company bonus incentives.
  • Health & Wellness: Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance plan options.
  • Future Security: Corporate retirement plan options to support long-term financial goals.
  • Work-Life Balance: Paid Time Off (PTO) covering vacation days, personal leave, and paid holidays.
  • Professional Investment: Company-sponsored ongoing technical training, code updates, and professional certification support.
