Baker Home Energy is seeking a Crew Lead to oversee residential solar projects and ensure all PV+ and battery installations meet code and quality standards.
You will lead a 2-4 person team, read blueprints, coordinate with the Area Superintendent and Construction Manager, and ensure safe, efficient installations with a focus on customer satisfaction and reliability. This role requires strong problem solving, adherence to NEC/OSHA codes, and hands-on leadership in a dynamic field environment.

The Crew Lead has been established to achieve the company goals in residential Solar needs. The Crew Lead will play an essential part in ensuring our customers’ PV Systems and other energy systems are installed efficiently, to code and will perform at optimal levels.
The Crew Lead Reports directly to the Area Superintendent. Area Superintendent reports directly to the Dir. Of Construction. The Area Superintendent will work in conjunction with the Construction Manager to ensure all project goals are met.
The base pay for this position is $25.00 to $35.00 per hour.
The work environment includes indoor as well as outdoor settings and can range in temperature from 30°F to 110°F. The work surface can include unfinished crawl spaces and attics as well as roof tops, walk‑in freezers, and concrete floors or pads. The noise level in the work environment is moderate to loud (60 -90 dB). Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stoop, reach, stand, walk, lift, pull, push, grasp, climb, talk, hear, see and use complex repetitive motions. May frequently lift and or move at least 75 pounds of materials, etc. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision such as to read handwritten or typed material and the ability to adjust focus. The starting salary for this opportunity range is listed.
