Job summary

SWAN Loveland is seeking an experienced Residential Licensed Electrician to handle service calls, upgrades, and remodels. You will work under our in-house Master Electrician, using a company vehicle and full benefits.

Field work includes residential sites across Loveland/CO areas, with emphasis on safety, documentation, and client communication. Requires at least 3 years as a residential electrician and a Residential Wireman or Journeyman license, along with knowledge of electrical codes and

Job description

We are looking for an experienced Residential Licensed Electrician to join our team. Are you an electrician who can take on service calls, service upgrades including remodels? Now is the time to join our team! Take advantage of this full-time opportunity with a company vehicle and full benefits reporting to our in-house Master Electrician!

Key Responsibilities
  • Upgrades: Assisting with upgrades to electrical systems to enhance efficiency.
  • Troubleshooting: Diagnosing electrical issues and determining the best solutions to resolve them.
  • Repairs: Repairing or replacing faulty electrical components, ensuring compliance with safety standards and codes.
  • Installation: Installing electrical components and systems, wiring, circuit breakers and more.
  • Collaboration: Working closely with other technicians to ensure proper integration of electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Documentation: Keeping accurate records of work performed, including repairs, installations, and maintenance activities.
  • Safety Compliance: Following all safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Customer Interaction: Communicating with customers to explain issues, recommend solutions, and provide updates on work being performed.
  • Continuing Education: Staying current with industry trends, technologies, and regulations.
Qualifications
  • Years of Experience - Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Residential Electrician
  • Licenses: Must have a Residential Wireman's License or a Journeyman's License
  • Electrical Knowledge: Strong understanding of electrical systems, circuits, and components.
  • Technical Proficiency: Competence in using electrical tools and diagnostic equipment.
  • Safety Awareness: Knowledge of electrical codes, safety practices, and regulations to ensure safe work environments.
  • Attention to Detail: Ability to follow precise instructions and specifications in installations and repairs.

Works in field environments across residential job sites, climbing ladders and navigating uneven surfaces. Regularly works in confined spaces and moves materials up to 50 pounds. Operates hand and power tools and vehicles. Must be able to see, hear, and exchange accurate information with customers and team members. Regular exposure to outdoor weather, noise, and dust.
