Job summary

Delta-T Group North Jersey, Inc. is seeking a Residential Aide / Direct Support Professional (DSP) to support adults with mental health needs in Burlington County. This assignment is contractor-based in Mount Laurel, NJ, offering hourly pay of $22 and flexible daily schedule.

You will implement programs in communication, socialization and behavior management, assist with daily living activities, accompany participants to community activities, and help maintain a clean, healthy living environment.

Qualifications

• Must be 21+ years old.
• Valid driver’s license with five points or less.
• 2 weeks of training, Mon-Fri, 8:00a-4:30p.
• QuantiFERON or chest X-ray.
• Resume.
• 2 supervisor references.
• CDS required prior to start.
• Comfortable working with behavior setting.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide support that will enhance individuals' quality of life.
• Implement specialized programs in communication, socialization and behavior management.
• Assist with and teach independent living skills.
• Assist with activities of daily living and personal self-care.
• Accompany participants to various community activities.
• Maintain cleanliness of homes and ensure a healthy living environment.
