Job summary

Delta-T Group in Trenton, NJ is seeking Residential Aides for the Mental Health Adult Population in Mercer County. These positions are available as Independent Contractors with varying shifts, including weekday and weekend coverage.

Compensation is $18 per hour with weekly payments. Responsibilities include supporting daily living activities, implementing programs to improve communication, socialization, and behavior management, and promoting a safe, clean home environment for participants.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a High School Diploma or its equivalent.
• Ability to complete and satisfactorily pass given background checks.
• Preventing Abuse and Neglect, Medication Training, CPR / FA, TB/Physical
• Minimum of 1 year of DSP experience
• Valid Driver's License required and must be 21+
• Resume

Responsibilities

• Provide support that will enhance individuals' quality of life.
• Implement specialized programs in areas of communication, socialization and behavior management.
• Assist with and teach independent living skills.
• Assist with activities of daily living and personal self-care such as toileting, eating, grooming, bathing and dressing.
• Accompany participants to various community activities.
• Maintain cleanliness of homes and ensures a healthy living environment for participants.
