Mauzy is hiring a Residential Drain Technician in Escondido, CA to respond to drain backups, perform cleaning, and diagnose issues on residential systems. You will work hands-on with cabling, jetting, and camera inspections to restore flow.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of residential drain work or service plumbing experience.
• ServiceTitan experience strongly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of residential plumbing and drain systems.

Responsibilities

• Respond to residential drain backups, slow drains, and emergency blockages with speed and professionalism.
• Perform drain cleaning using cabling, jetting, and other methods to restore flow.
• Diagnose root intrusions, collapsed lines, grease buildup, or other obstructions.
• Conduct sewer camera inspections to identify line condition and verify drainage.
• Educate homeowners on drain system care and preventive maintenance.
• Present repair, cleaning, or replacement options and close service calls transparently.
• Perform minor drain repairs, clean-outs, and component replacements as needed.
• Communicate effectively with homeowners to ensure understanding and trust.

Responsibilities:

• Respond to residential drain backups, slow drains, and emergency blockages with speed, professionalism, and clear problem‑solving.

• Perform drain cleaning using cabling, jetting, and other mechanical or hydro‑mechanical methods to restore proper flow.

• Accurately diagnose root intrusions, collapsed lines, grease buildup, foreign obstructions, and other drain‑related problems.

• Conduct sewer camera inspections to identify line condition, locate breaks, and verify proper drainage.

• Educate homeowners on drain system care, preventive maintenance, repair options, and long‑term solutions.

• Present clear repair, cleaning, or replacement options and confidently close service calls with transparency and professionalism.

• Perform minor drain repairs, clean‑outs, and component replacements as needed to restore system functionality.

• Communicate effectively with homeowners to ensure understanding, trust, and a positive service experience.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in residential drain work or service plumbing experience
• ServiceTitan experience - strongly preferred
• Strong knowledge of residential plumbing and drain systems
• Excellent Customer Service & communication skills .

Pay Transparency:

The starting rate for this opportunity ranges from 50k-100k annually. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs, and market demands. Other rewards may include incentive plan opportunities and annual bonus eligibility. We provide a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays, and paid time off (PTO).
