Job summary

gpac is seeking a skilled drafter to produce construction drawings for new single-family homes in a on-site Wyoming setting. You will transform sketches and design input into permit-ready plan sets, ensuring plans meet customer options, structural changes, and code requirements while staying on schedule.

Qualifications

• Experience drafting residential homes; builder or architectural experience a plus.
• Strong skills in AutoCAD, Chief Architect, Revit or similar software.
• Working knowledge of residential construction methods and building codes.
• The ability to read and interpret construction documents and redlines.
• A sharp eye for detail and the ability to manage several projects at once.

Responsibilities

What You'll Do

• Produce construction drawings for new homes, including floor plans, elevations, sections, roof plans and details
• Turn sketches, redlines and design input into accurate, permit‑ready plan sets
• Revise plans for customer options, structural changes and code requirements
• Work with designers, estimators, engineers and the field team so plans are buildable and on schedule
• Keep plan libraries, standards and drawing files organized and up to date

What You Bring

Compensation: $90,000-$100,000 per year (DOE)
