Job summary

RISE, a nonprofit social services network, is hiring an IDLA Home Supervisor to lead residential supports and supervise Direct Support Professionals in alignment with our mission and state policies. This safety-sensitive role focuses on guidance, compliance, and quality of care for individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities and the elderly.

Qualifications

• Minimum of High School Diploma or GED and two years supervising staff.
• Must have verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be 21+ and meet driving/insurance requirements.
• First Aid/CPR certification.
• Background clearance and fingerprint card.

Responsibilities

• Provide management and support to exceed customer expectations.
• Coach, train, develop and discipline direct support professionals.
• Ensure DSPs meet all policies and procedures.
• Maintain records, logs, and documentation as required.
• Attend staff meetings and trainings; schedule regular meetings.
• Coordinate staffing ratios with HCBS coordinator.
• Ensure staff compliance with time and attendance procedures.
• Demonstrate fiscal understanding and budget awareness.
• Promote rights and person-centered planning outcomes.
