Job summary

Lifesteps, Inc. is hiring a Full-Time Direct Care Supervisor to oversee a Residential Home in Beaver Falls, PA. The position requires supervising direct care staff, coordinating schedules, and ensuring quality care for individuals with special needs in a community living setting.

The role covers 40 hours per week with the Daylight shift from 7 am to 3 pm. On-call duties are required, and the goal is to enhance residents’ independence and quality of life in their home and community.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma / GED and three (3) years experience in human services such as direct care, caregiver, TSS, HHA, CNA, DSP, or related position.
• Current driver’s license and proof of automobile insurance.
• Obtain a Medication Administration Certification within 6 months of hire.
• First Aid/CPR certified within 6 months of hire.
• Lift, push, pull, or move up to 200 lbs. with assistance.

Responsibilities

• Direct supervision of community home staff.
• Scheduling, training staff, performance reviews.
• Oversight of care provided to individuals with special needs.
• Assist with caregiving duties.
• Take clients to doctor appointments, shopping, etc.
• Documentation such as fire drills, client progress notes, medication administration, etc.
