Job summary

Open Sky Community Services, Inc. seeks a Residential Counselor to support individuals in achieving greater independence in residential and community settings.

You will assist with daily living activities, skill-building, and community participation, while advocating for self-determination and meaningful relationships. The role emphasizes safety, documentation, and collaboration with a trauma-informed, inclusive workplace.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent is required.
• Valid Driver’s License with acceptable driving record is required.
• Reliability, willingness to learn, and openness to new opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing individualized, person-centered service plans and assist with their implementation.
• Provide support with daily living activities, skill development, and personal goal achievement.
• Assist individuals with accessing transportation and community resources as needed.
• Implement activities that promote community inclusion, relationship building, personal growth, and development of valued social roles.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive environment that promotes health, safety, and well-being of individuals served.
• Review, complete, and maintain all required documentation accurately and timely.
