Job summary

Merakey is hiring a full-time Residential Counselor 3-11 (Tuesday-Saturday) for our CRR program in Delaware County. This role provides direction and daily support to residents in the community residential rehab setting.

Responsibilities include assisting with nutrition, hygiene, budgeting, self-care, health management, and transportation to appointments. The position requires 1 year of mental health experience with adults preferred and offers $18.75 per hour with enhanced pay.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must have a valid driver's license with a clean record.
• One year of mental health experience with adults preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direction and assistance to consumers in Community Residential Rehab (CRR) programs.
• Assist with nutrition, housekeeping, budgeting, hygiene, self-care, home safety, social interaction, exercise, health management, and vocational tasks.
• Transport residents to appointments and outings.
• Implement parts of each resident's goal plan as instructed by the treatment team or supervisor.
• Report residents' progress to the appropriate clinician.
• Cover open shifts as needed.
