Job summary

Merakey is seeking a FT Residential Counselor for Saturday and Sunday 7am–11am shifts in Delaware County CRR programs. Earn $18.75 per hour with enhanced pay options.

This full-time role rotates to cover open shifts and supports residents with daily living needs. You will help with nutrition, housekeeping, budgeting, hygiene, self-care, safety, social interaction, transport to appointments, and progress reporting to clinicians; Merakey offers comprehensive benefits and equal opportunity

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license with clean record.
• One year of mental health experience with adults preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direction and assistance to residents in CRR programs.
• Assist with daily living tasks including nutrition, housekeeping, hygiene, and self-care.
• Transport residents to appointments and outings.
• Implement parts of each resident's goal plan as directed by the team.
• Report residents' progress to the clinician.
• Cover open shifts as needed.

Position Details

The Residential Counselor will providedirection and assistance to consumers residing in theCommunity Residential Rehab (CRR) programs.

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:

• Assist with nutrition,housekeeping, budgeting, hygiene, self-care, home safety, social interaction, exercise, health management, and vocational.
• Transport residents to appointments and outings.
• Implement appropriate parts of each resident's goal plan as instructed by the treatment team or supervisor.
• Report the resident's progress to the appropriate clinician.
• Cover open shifts as needed
