Merakey is seeking a PT Residential Counselor 11-7 (Saturday/Sunday) for a program in Delaware County, PA. The role is full time with rotating shifts, offering $16.25/hour with potential enhanced pay.

The Residential Counselor will support residents in CRR programs, helping with daily living tasks, transportation, and progress reporting to clinicians. The position requires a valid driver's license and may involve covering open shifts as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license with clean record.
• One year of mental health experience with adults preferred.

Responsibilities

• Transport residents to appointments and outings.
• Implement appropriate parts of each resident's goal plan as instructed by the treatment team or supervisor.

Position Details

The Residential Counselor will provide direction and assistance to consumers residing in the Community Residential Rehab (CRR) programs.

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:

• Assist with nutrition, housekeeping, budgeting, hygiene, self-care, home safety, social interaction, exercise, health management, and vocational.
• Transport residents to appointments and outings.
• Implement appropriate parts of each resident's goal plan as instructed by the treatment team or supervisor.
• Report the resident's progress to the appropriate clinician.
• Cover open shifts as needed.
