Job summary

Riverside Community Care is seeking a Residential Counselor who will join a supportive team dedicated to helping individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities, autism, or brain injury build daily living skills and meaningful community connections.

The role emphasizes respect for each resident's uniqueness, coaching, and companionship. Schedule is Monday–Friday 9am–3pm (30 hrs) with a starting rate of $20/hour, and a benefits-aware, inclusive workplace.

Responsibilities

• Maintain residents' physical and emotional health and safety in the community.
• Foster relationships with housemates, family, and neighbors.
• Develop and practice skills that increase independence, confidence, and self-determination.
• Encourage participation in community activities, work, and volunteer opportunities.
