Job summary

Riverside Community Care is seeking a Residential Counselor to join our supportive team, helping individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities build daily living skills, independence, and meaningful relationships. You will provide coaching, supervision, and companionship in a respectful, person-centered setting.

Our homes host 3–5 residents with private bedrooms and shared spaces; shifts include evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Maintain residents' physical and emotional health; help them live safely in the community.
• Foster relationships with housemates, family members, and neighbors.
• Develop and practice skills increasing independence, confidence, and self-determination.
• Participate in community activities, work, and volunteer opportunities that align with residents' goals.
