Job summary

Eliot Community Human Services, Inc. seeks a Residential Counselor to support daily operations of a group home for adults with developmental and brain injuries. This role focuses on community integration, safety, and documenting Individual Support Plans.

The ideal candidate will have experience with brain injuries or developmental disabilities, and a valid Massachusetts driver’s license with access to a personal vehicle. Weekend shifts are required.

Qualifications

• Requires a High school diploma.
• Experience working with adults with brain injuries or developmental disabilities.
• Ability to drive residence vehicle.
• Must possess a Massachusetts driver’s license and maintain a personally owned vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Support daily operations of a group home serving individuals with developmental disabilities and brain injuries.
• Promote community integration by supporting access to resources, fostering relationships, and reducing stigma.
• Ensure a safe, supportive environment and implement crisis interventions when needed.
• Assist in the implementation of Individual Support Plans and maintain accurate, timely documentation.
