Job summary

Eliot Community Human Services, Inc. seeks a Residential Counselor to support a group home for adults with developmental and/or brain injuries in Massachusetts.

You will help with daily operations, promote community integration, and maintain a safe, supportive environment with crisis interventions when needed. The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, experience with brain injuries or developmental disabilities, and a valid MA driver’s license with access to a personal vehicle.

Qualifications

• High school diploma.
• Experience working with adults with brain injuries or developmental disabilities.
• Ability to drive program van.
• Must possess a valid Massachusetts driver’s license and maintain a personally owned vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Support daily operations of a group home serving individuals with developmental disabilities and brain injuries.
• Promote community integration by supporting access to resources, fostering relationships, and reducing stigma.
• Ensure a safe, supportive environment and implement crisis interventions when needed.
• Assist in the implementation of Individual Support Plans and maintain accurate, timely documentation.
