Job summary

RiseWell Community Services is seeking a compassionate Part-Time Residential Counselor to join our Brentwood, NY team. You will provide skill training to individuals with psychiatric disabilities and educate the community on recovery and integration of those with mental illness.

Requirements include a BA in Human Services or a high school diploma with two years' experience with psychiatric disabilities; fingerprinting, background check, NYS Office of Mental Health approval, and a valid NYS

Qualifications

• BA in Human Services or High School Diploma with two years of experience working with persons with psychiatric disabilities.
• Fingerprinting, Criminal Record Check, NYS Office of Mental Health Approval, and a clean NY State Driver's License required.

Responsibilities

• Provide skill training to individuals with psychiatric disabilities.
• Educate and support the advancement of the community's understanding of recovery and integration of individuals with mental illness.
