Job summary

Open Sky Community Services is seeking a Residential Counselor to empower individuals to achieve greater independence in residential and community-based settings. You will provide direct care, guidance, and skill-building support to help people reach personal goals and improve quality of life.

You will assist with daily living activities, transportation, and community participation, while maintaining a safe, respectful environment and thorough documentation.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent, required.
• Valid Driver’s License and acceptable driving record, required.
• Reliability, willingness to learn, and openness to new opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing individualized, person-centered service and support plans and participate in their implementation.
• Provide support with daily living activities, skill development, and personal goal achievement.
• Assist individuals with transportation and community resources as needed.
• Implement activities that promote community inclusion and relationship building.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive environment and complete required documentation.
