Job summary

Community Resources for Justice in Westborough, MA, is seeking Residential Counselors for a Full-time 32-hours/week role at a starting rate of $18/hr. The position is on-site, benefits-eligible, and non-exempt.

The schedule includes First/Seconds with opportunities for training and professional growth. Responsibilities include supervising and transporting clients to appointments and activities, teaching skills per the Individual Service Plan, modeling positive behavior, and documenting progress.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Pass required certifications in the allotted time.
• Must pass a criminal and driver’s check.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and transport clients during assigned hours; may include job interviews, medical appointments, weekly recreation, religious services, and shopping trips.
• Support and teach clients new skills including goals in the Individual Service Plan.
• Act as a positive role model to support quality of life and safety in all settings.
• Administer medications and complete documentation such as progress notes and attendance.

This is a Full-time, 32-hours/week, non-exempt position that will be working in our Westborough, MA location. This position is eligible for benefits and has a starting rate of $18/hr.

What you'll do

• Supervise and transport clients during assigned hours; this may include job interviews, medical appointments, weekly recreation, religious services, and shopping trips
• Support and teach clients new skills including, but not limited to, specific goals in the clients’ Individual Service Plan
• Act as a positive role model for the client to support attaining the highest quality of life while maintaining their safety in all settings
• Administer medications and complete appropriate documentation in a timely manner, such as progress notes, weekly summaries, and attendance

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Valid Driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Desire to make a genuine difference in the lives of others
• Must pass required certifications in the allotted time set forth by the agency
