Job summary

Community Resources For Justice (CRJ) is hiring Residential Counselors in Milford, MA. This full-time, non-exempt role involves 40 hours per week with benefits and a starting rate of $18/hour.

You will supervise clients, transport them to appointments and activities, and support their progress as outlined in each Individual Service Plan. Training and advancement opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and transport clients during assigned hours, including interviews, medical appointments, recreation, religious services, and shopping.
• Support and teach clients new skills aligned with their Individual Service Plan.
• Act as a positive role model to help clients achieve the highest quality of life while ensuring safety.
• Administer medications and complete timely documentation (progress notes, weekly summaries, attendance).

What you’ll do

• Supervise and transport clients during assigned hours; this may include job interviews, medical appointments, weekly recreation, religious services, and shopping trips
• Support and teach clients new skills including, but not limited to, specific goals in the clients’ Individual Service Plan
• Acting as a positive role model for the client to support attaining the highest quality of life while maintaining their safety in all settings
• Administering medications and completing appropriate documentation in a timely manner, such as progress notes, weekly summaries, and attendance
