Job summary

Merakey is seeking a PT Residential Counselor for 7AM-3PM on Saturdays and Sundays to join our CRR program in Delaware County. The role is full time and rotates to cover open shifts, supporting residents with daily living skills and treatment goals.

You will work closely with the treatment team to monitor progress, assist with Nutrition, hygiene, budgeting, transportation, and activities, and report updates to clinicians. This weekend schedule reflects our commitment to available care.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Must have a valid driver’s license with a clean record.
• One year of mental health experience with adults preferred.

Position Details

The Residential Counselor will provide direction and assistance to consumers residing in the Community Residential Rehab (CRR) programs.

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:

• Assist with nutrition, housekeeping, budgeting, hygiene, self-care, home safety, social interaction, exercise, health management, and vocational.
• Transport residents to appointments and outings.
• Implement appropriate parts of each resident's goal plan as instructed by the treatment team or supervisor.
• Report the resident's progress to the appropriate clinician.
• Cover open shifts as needed
