Job summary

The Marion County Community Corrections Agency seeks an experienced administrator to oversee and supervise up to 65 team members at the Duvall Residential Center (DRC). The role ensures safety of residents and staff, maintains compliance with policies, and reports to the Chief Deputy Director.

Responsibilities include staffing, training, contract oversight, emergency planning, quality assurance, and coordination with the Sheriff’s Office and external partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice, Business Management, or related field and eight years of experience in the criminal justice field.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective organizational and public relations.
• Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
• Must have knowledge and a proven track record in leadership, management, contracts, personnel and process performance measurement.

Responsibilities

• Monitors and supervise daily operation of a 24/7 correctional facility ensuring the safety and security of residents and team members.
• Monitors and ensures contract compliance with the Indiana Department of Correction Community Transition Program.
• Performs daily supervision and monitoring of work release facility team-members and operations, vendors, and contractors.
• Drafts, reviews, and enforces policies, procedures, and standards relating to residential programs and compliance with laws.
• Represents the agency or facility to other agencies, groups, boards, businesses, and the public.
