Job summary

Marion County is seeking a seasoned Corrections Health Program Manager to organize and direct medical and mental health services at the Marion County Corrections Facility. The role includes policy development, quality assurance, regulatory compliance, and budgeting with executive oversight of staff and contracts.

The incumbent will coordinate health services with custody operations, contracted providers, and external agencies, directing both clinical and administrative functions in a 24/7

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a professional health field.
• Minimum 5 years of progressively responsible health care administration experience with supervision.
• Any combination of work, education, or training acceptable as determined by Marion County.

Responsibilities

• Organize, direct, and administer medical and mental health services.
• Direct program operations, policy development, QA, regulatory compliance, budgets, and contracts.
• Supervise staff and provide management recommendations on policy and service delivery.
• Coordinate health services with custody, providers, and external agencies.
• Prepare budgets, monitor expenditures, and manage grant funds.
• Oversee facility permits, inspections, and regulatory compliance.
• Serve as liaison to government agencies and community organizations.
