Job summary

LifeStream Inc. in Massachusetts seeks a Residential Coordinator to lead a team of 8-10 Direct Support professionals in delivering exceptional care to individuals with intellectual disabilities. The role will supervise staff, coordinate trainings, and ensure quality service in all homes.

The schedule is Monday through Friday with some flexibility. A Bachelor's Degree in Human Services and supervisory experience are preferred, with strong leadership and teamwork required to implement

Responsibilities

• Direct supervision and development of 8-10 Direct Support staff.
• Coordinate trainings and manage performance according to policy.
• Implement Person Centered Thinking across staff and individuals.
• Maintain pleasant home environments reflecting residents' interests.
• Coordinate home and vehicle repairs and maintenance.
• Handle administrative tasks like filing and documentation timely.
• Oversee ISP processes in compliance with DDS/MRC regulations.

Your responsibility as a Residential Coordinator will be leading a team of 8-10 Direct Support professional in providing exceptional care to individuals with intellectual disabilities. Some of the additional functions of this position are:

• Direct supervision and development of all program staff including the coordinating trainings to address identified need areas. Manage performance and discipline process according to agency policy and applicable law
• Ensure LifeStream philosophy on Community, Commitment and Continuous learning is being implemented.
• Assure the implementation of Person Centered Thinking for all employees and individuals.
• All homes must maintain a pleasant physical appearance and that items in the home represent the interests and preferences of the individuals supported.
• Coordinate necessary home/vehicle repairs and maintenance.
• Administrative tasks such as filing, scanning and review of documentation is completed in a timely fashion.
• Assure that Individual Service Plan (ISP) process is conducted and carried out in the best interest of each individual served and in compliance with DDS and MRC regulations pertaining to ISP development and implementation.

Experience/Education

Required

• Ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in the Human Service field with one year supervisory experience OR a minimum of three years' experience in Human Services. Candidate will also have demonstrated a history of quality work performance and teamwork in previous positions as well as proven leadership skills.
