Job summary

Carey Services, Inc. in Upland, IN is seeking a Residential Coordinator to support group homes and assist with onboarding staff and compliance. The role includes scheduling, incident reporting, and ensuring person-centered plans are implemented, with crisis response as needed.

The position is full-time, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM with some Friday shifts and weekly home shifts, offering a chance to contribute to high-quality care and staff development.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting individuals and helping them gain independence.
• Experience with accredited agencies serving individuals with disabilities.
• Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
• Ability to assess needs in crisis situations.
• Basic knowledge of word processing and spreadsheets preferred.
• Ability to manage time for self and others.
• Able to be adaptive and flexible.
• CPR, First Aid, behavioral interventions, and medication administration certification (or able to obtain).

Responsibilities

• Representing the agency with full compliance, at applicable surveys and inspections
• Maintaining adherence to all regulatory requirements and ensure procedures and policies are up to date and effectively implemented.
• Providing direct support and programming for individuals. to individuals
• Maintaining information/data/documentation in each home setting for individual served per program regulations.
• Working with the Quality Compliance Administrator to ensure compliance in new hire trainings and communicate progress to the applicable residential managers
• Ensuring Timely and accurate completion of all required reports, including incident/accident reports, case notes, and program data.
• Promoting agency-wide safety and housekeeping as well as take a proactive approach to preventive maintenance and delivery of quality service.
• Training and assisting newly hired staff on the completion of CBTs for the individuals served they will be working with.
• Providing for the health, safety and wellbeing of the individual served by having knowledge of and protecting individual served right and following all HIPAA guidelines.
