Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in social work, counseling, psychology, psychiatric nursing, or closely related field.
  • High School diploma or GED with at least 2 years of responsible employment history.
  • 1 year supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and support clients/patients during daily activities to promote a safe, therapeutic environment.
  • Orient clients to program expectations, rights, and rules; communicate progress to the treatment team.
  • Lead, train, and supervise Behavioral Health Technicians; assist with onboarding and scheduling.
  • Provide direct client care duties including group facilitation, activities, and transportation as needed.
  • Assist Clinical Team with screening, monitoring, assessment support, and treatment planning under supervision.
  • Facilitate behavioral interventions and crisis de-escalation; report unusual incidents as required.
  • Ensure timely documentation of client activities and progress per standards; complete mandated trainings.
  • Prepare group curricula and participate in staff meetings; facilitate BHT meetings as scheduled.
  • Complete annual evaluations for direct reports and provide supervision.
