LHH is seeking a compassionate Residential Coordinator in San Jose, CA to support families in a community shelter setting. The role handles daily site operations, resident engagement, meal distribution, documentation, and facilitating activities for families and children.

Responsibilities include welcoming residents, assisting with meals, conducting check-ins, and coordinating workshops and life-skills programming.

Job description

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Residential Coordinator to support families in a community shelter setting. This role assists with daily site operations, resident engagement, meal distribution, documentation, and facilitating activities for families and children.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and support residents and visitors
• Assist with meal distribution and daily site operations
• Conduct resident check-ins and provide general support
• Facilitate workshops, activities, and life skills programming
• Complete data entry and documentation
• Monitor site safety and follow established procedures
• Work collaboratively with team members and residents
• A minimum of 1 year of experience in social services, shelters, or community programs
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work with diverse populations in a respectful, non-judgmental manner
• Basic computer and data entry skills
• Must be able to pass drug screen, have a valid CA License and pass background check

Pay: $25-$29/hr

Schedule: Day Shift: Friday through Tuesday 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM | Swing Shift: Friday through Tuesday12:30 PM - 9:00 PM

Location: San Jose, CA 95125 Onsite

Type: Full-Time | Open-Ended Contract
