Job summary

Our Client is seeking a Residential Construction Superintendent with strong leadership to manage subcontractors, supervise skilled workers, and uphold safety and quality on site. The role requires ongoing safety compliance and daily site oversight.

The ideal candidate has 18 months of construction experience, can read blueprints, and participate in after-hours on-call rotation. Competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• 18 months of experience in construction, restoration, or renovations.
• Capable of reading blueprints, specifications, and reports.
• Ability to participate in a rotational after-hours on-call schedule.
• Experience with Xactimate is a huge plus.
• Detail-oriented, highly organized, and able to multitask.
• Superb organizational, leadership, time-management, and communication skills.
• Basic computer skills and ability to use Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Certify that each building project delivers a high-quality end product, oversee construction staff, and perform on-site assessments daily.
• Require complete adherence to health and safety regulations on construction sites to avoid accidents and delays, and report any problems to the project manager as soon as possible.
• Assess subcontractor progress against timelines and performance targets to ensure that work is completed on schedule and to the highest possible quality.
