Job summary

David Weekley Homes seeks a Residential Construction Superintendent to lead home builds across FL markets. You will oversee the entire construction process from ground-breaking to handover, coordinate trade partners, manage schedules, and ensure quality and safety standards.

• Provide managerial oversight of home construction from breaking ground to completion, ensuring high-quality, on-time, and cost-efficient delivery.
• Build strong relationships with homeowners through clear communication, meetings, and walkthroughs, ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction.
• Schedule, coordinate, and manage 30+ subcontractors while maintaining strong relationships and holding teams accountable for quality and safety standards.
• Work closely with Sales, Warranty, and Office Team to deliver a seamless building and closing experience.
• Maintain a professional, clean and organized job site aligned with company and safety standards.
• Monitor budgets to control construction costs and prepare daily, monthly and quarterly reports.

David Weekley Homes is looking for Residential Construction Superintendents/Builders to join our growing team. We have opportunities throughout Manatee and Sarasota Counties, including Parrish, Bradenton, Lakewood Ranch, Sarasota and Venice.

As a Builder, you'll take ownership of the construction process from start to finish. You'll coordinate trade partners, manage construction schedules, maintain quality standards, communicate with homeowners, and make sure each home is built with the level of quality and care David Weekley Homes is known for.

We're looking for someone who is organized, proactive, and enjoys being hands-on in the field. If you take pride in your work, build strong relationships, and enjoy seeing a home come together from the ground up, we'd love to hear from you.

What You'll Do:

• Prior residential production building experience is required, 2+ years of field management preferred.
• Proven ability to schedule, supervise, and motivate trade partners while upholding David Weekley Homes' standards of quality, safety, and craftsmanship.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with homeowners, vendors, and internal teams.
• Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
• Computer proficiency required to handle job costing, payroll and communication with vendors and trades as well as internal team members.
• College degree or related professional experience preferred.
