David Weekley Homes in Minneapolis is seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent (Builder) to lead single-family home projects in the East Metro. You will manage construction, coordinate subcontractors, ensure quality and schedule, and deliver an exceptional customer experience.

This role requires 2+ years in residential production, subcontractor supervision, and effective communication with customers and team members.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of residential production building experience.
• Experience scheduling and supervising subcontractors.
• Experience communicating with customers and teammates.
• Prior payroll and budget responsibilities for subcontractors.
• Flexibility and problem-solving capabilities.
• College education preferred.

Responsibilities

• Managerial oversight of home construction.
• Plan, schedule, and coordinate quality-built homes on time and within budget.
• Build rapport with customers and maintain satisfaction.
• Inspect subcontractor work quality and compliance with standards.
• Maintain a professional, organized job site.
• Coordinate homebuyer reviews and liaise with sales and team.
• Oversee people, materials, and budgets with oversight.
• Manage productivity and safety code compliance.
• Apply contracts, plans, and regulations understanding.
• Prepare daily, monthly, and quarterly reports.
