Columbia University Facilities & Operations is seeking an experienced Project Manager for the Residential Construction group at the Morningside Campus in Manhattan to oversee renovations for Graduate and Faculty housing portfolios.

The role manages scopes from inception to closeout, coordinates with design consultants and contractors, and handles budgets and schedules for projects ranging from small upgrades to multi-million-dollar capital work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in a relevant field. Four (4) additional years of construction experience may be substituted for the degree.
• Five (5) years of experience managing construction projects, including residential renovation, in New York City.
• Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Highly organized with ability to manage multiple small to medium projects across various sites.
• Ability to work in a client-facing service environment with discretion and judgment.

Responsabilités

• Overall management of scope, design, bid, construction and closeout phases.
• Strategic planning and development of budget and schedule for projects.
• Provide guidance to team members and lower titles.
• Maintain project records and report status to stakeholders.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
