Placements24 seeks a seasoned Construction Project Manager to lead planning and execution of residential developments in Welkom, Free State. You will oversee budgets, timelines, subcontractors, and ensure high quality and safety throughout the lifecycle.

The role requires strong leadership and coordination with clients, architects, engineers, and authorities, plus rigorous site inspections and progress reviews to drive successful handovers.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Construction Project Manager, with a significant focus on residential developments.
• Strong knowledge of residential construction techniques, materials, and regulations in the Free State.
• Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, schedules, and project risks effectively.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in project management software such as MS Project or similar.
• Relevant construction management qualification is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of residential construction projects, including planning, budgeting, and scheduling.
• Manage and coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and site personnel to ensure timely and efficient project completion.
• Ensure all construction activities comply with building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards.
• Liaise with clients, architects, engineers, and local authorities to facilitate smooth project progress.
• Conduct regular site inspections and progress meetings to monitor quality, identify risks, and resolve issues.
• Manage project finances, including cost control, variation orders, and final account settlements.
