Meritage Homes is seeking a Construction Manager to oversee homebuilding projects across Baldwin County, ensuring quality and compliance with Meritage standards. The role requires coordinating subcontractors, materials, and inspections while maintaining safety and clear communication with homeowners and city inspectors.

This position focuses on delivering energy-efficient, affordable homes with a strong emphasis on customer satisfaction and teamwork across departments.

Formación

• 4–10 years construction experience with supervisory or project oversight.
• Experience reading blueprints and inspecting framing, stucco, electrical and plumbing elements.
• Knowledge of homebuilding, building codes and ROC standards.
• Excellent customer service skills and ability to explain complex issues clearly.
• Proficient in Word and Excel; Hyphen knowledge is a plus.
• Ability to manage subcontractors, schedules and material deliveries.

Responsabilidades

• Manage homebuilding construction through all phases to ensure delivery of a quality home.
• Schedule subcontractors and delivery dates for materials.
• Ensure all building codes and Meritage Homes standards are met.
• Conduct walk-through inspections with homeowners and coordinate inspections.
• Communicate safety standards to laborers and subcontractors and enforce safety regulations.
• Maintain a clean and organized job site and subdivision.
• Interact daily with company departments, subcontractors, customers, and city inspectors.
• Attend construction, monthly and quarterly meetings.
