Job summary

Lennar is seeking a Construction Manager to oversee home construction across assigned communities, ensuring quality, schedule adherence, and cost control. Responsibilities include managing sites, coordinating trade partners, and ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

The role requires experience in residential construction management, strong organizational skills, and proficiency with Build Pro, Procore, and Microsoft Office. On-site presence and travel to communities are expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; college degree preferred; 3-5 years experience in home building/construction.
• Experience in residential construction management required.
• Strong organizational, time management, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency with Build Pro, Procore, and Microsoft Office to streamline workflows.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all construction activities from inception to move-in, manage job sites, scheduling, and supervision of trade partners to ensure timelines and scope adherence.
• Supervise pre-construction meetings, pre-drywall meetings, and final presentations.
• Negotiate solutions raised by inspectors and trade partners to support budget adherence and drive CIP improvements.
• Manage daily trade partner communications and invoice approvals in Build Pro with timely notifications and accurate payments.
• Provide feedback on trade partner timeliness and quality to the Lead Construction Manager.
• Maintain job-site safety, cleanliness, and compliance with building codes; keep safety logs and conduct on-site safety meetings.
• Perform Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan inspections and keep records.
• Oversee documentation: change orders, purchase orders, safety logs.
• Collaborate with sales, customer care, and management to resolve issues and communicate effectively.
