Job summary

Schumacher Homes is seeking a Construction Manager to lead on-site construction of custom homes in North Carolina. You will guide the build from foundation to finish, coordinate trades, monitor quality, and ensure homeowner satisfaction.

This role requires strong knowledge of residential systems, field oversight, and collaboration with customers and the General Manager. You will also participate in pre-construction planning and maintain schedules to meet time targets.

Qualifications

• Prior scattered-site residential construction experience preferred.
• Technical knowledge of residential construction processes and terminology.
• Computer experience – the ability to use technology (Smart Phone, I-Pad). Familiarity with Microsoft Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Work with the customer to build their dream home, schedule trades and ensure the home is built with attention to quality, meeting building time expectations and exceeding homeowner satisfaction.
• Builds assigned homes within time, cost, quality and satisfaction standards.
• Participates in pre-construction meeting with General Manager, Customer Coordinators and homeowners.
