Job summary

Arizona Federal Credit Union is seeking a Construction Loans Administrator to ensure timeliness, quality, and accuracy of residential construction loan documentation, budgets, and draws. You will support the lending teams, members, and vendors while safeguarding the credit union from construction-related risks.

The role requires coordination of draws, inspections, and file maintenance, with emphasis on detail, communication, and compliance. Hybrid work options may apply to this position.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 1–3 years in residential lending origination, processing, servicing or draws.
• Knowledge of residential lending, compliance and credit regulations.
• Ability to perform construction site inspections and prepare reports.

Responsibilities

• Assist lending team with collecting and reviewing documentation for construction loans, escrows and holdbacks.
• Maintain positive relationships with members, contractors, and third parties throughout the process.
• Audit construction budgets for feasibility and accuracy.
• Review construction contracts to ensure project data is correct.
• Co-host intro calls to educate members and general contractors on draw processes and expectations.
• Prepare welcome packages post-closing and process draw requests per schedule.
