Job summary

Ashton Woods Homes is seeking a construction internship in Raleigh, NC to introduce you to project management principles on a residential site. You will support the Project Manager and collaborate with subcontractors as well as Sales/Design teams to deliver quality homes on schedule and within budget.

Strong attention to detail, the ability to multitask, and excellent communication skills are essential. A valid driver’s license is required to participate in on-site activities.

Qualifications

• Applicants should be in their Junior or Senior Year of a four-year Construction Science, Business, Finance Program or other relatable field.
• Attention to detail, ability to multi-task and excellent communication skills are essential.
• Must have a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Complete training tasks within a specified time.
• Assist the Project Manager in managing construction processes and subcontractors.
• Facilitate exceptional customer service through routine care appointments.
• Communicate with homebuyers and on-site staff as required.
• Help ensure the home is delivered on time and within budget.
• Coordinate with Sales/Marketing/Design Center to resolve issues.
• Work with the Sales Consultant to maintain high customer satisfaction.
• Report construction, safety, or service issues with resolution ideas to the Area Construction Manager.
• Support community upkeep to appeal to homebuyers.
