RJ Painting & Decorating in California is looking for a Painter Helper to support our team on interior and exterior residential and commercial projects. No extensive experience required; training provided. You will prepare surfaces, assist with painting, and keep tools organized.

Candidates should be reliable, able to lift up to 75 lbs, and commute to multiple job sites across our service areas. A positive attitude and teamwork are essential to deliver high-quality results for our clients.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to commute between job sites.
• Smartphone with data plan (compensated).
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 75 lbs.
• Willingness to learn and work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily maintenance routines on painting equipment.
• Getting yourself to and from the job sites.
• Prepare surfaces for painting by washing, scraping, sanding, or by other means necessary.
• Use caulk, putty, cement, or plaster to repair holes and cracks.

We are in search of a dedicated and motivated individual to join our team as a Painter Helper. Little to no experience is needed! In this role, some of your job responsibilities include but are not limited to, preparing and cleaning surfaces for painting, filling holes and cracks, assisting in mixing and the application of paint, maintaining tools and equipment, and ensuring a clean and organized work environment. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, reliable, and eager to learn from our experienced team. This is a great opportunity to gain hands‑on experience in the painting industry and develop valuable skills for a rewarding career.
