Job summary

RJ Painting & Decorating in California is seeking an Intermediate Painter to join our team. You will prepare and paint interior and exterior surfaces, clean and maintain tools, and work on projects across multiple CA locations including Orland.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of verifiable painting experience, a valid driver’s license, a reliable vehicle, and the physical stamina to lift 20–75 lbs while standing, bending, and climbing. A positive attitude and willingness to learn are essential.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of verifiable painting experience (must be stated on resume).
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to commute between job sites.
• Smartphone with data plan (compensated).
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Ability to lift and carry 20 lbs to 75 lbs of equipment; comfortable with heights.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily maintenance routines on painting equipment.
• Getting yourself to and from the job sites.
• Prepare surfaces for painting by washing, scraping, sanding, or by other means necessary.
• Use caulk, putty, cement, or plaster to repair holes and cracks.
