RJ Painting & Decorating is seeking a Painter Helper in California. No experience required—learn on the job while assisting with interior and exterior residential and commercial painting projects.

You will prepare surfaces, help mix and apply paint, maintain tools, and keep work areas clean and organized. A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are helpful for commuting between sites.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily maintenance routines on painting equipment.
• Get yourself to and from the job sites.
• Prepare surfaces for painting by washing, scraping, sanding, or by other means necessary.
• Use caulk, putty, cement, or plaster to repair holes and cracks.

Job Summary:

We are in search of a dedicated and motivated individual to join our team as a Painter Helper. Little to no experience is needed! In this role, some of your job responsibilities include but are not limited to, preparing and cleaning surfaces for painting, filling holes and cracks, assisting in mixing and the application of paint, maintaining tools and equipment, and ensuring a clean and organized work environment. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, reliable, and eager to learn from our experienced team. This is a great opportunity to gain hands‑on experience in the painting industry and develop valuable skills for a rewarding career. Your work will involve a range of projects, including both interior and exterior painting jobs for residential and commercial properties.
