Qualifications

• 3+ yrs. experience interpreting codes in the field to provide code compliant solutions.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to interact with diverse stakeholders including public, contractors and authorities.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily field inspections of residential, commercial and public facility construction projects.
• Explain technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Review plans and calculations for code compliance with local, state and federal standards.
• Maintain inspection records and enter results into permitting software.
• Provide recommendations on interpretations of building standards and ordinances.
